Chief Geetika Tandon is a seasoned educator and administrator with over 30 years of diverse experience in teaching, school administration, and public relations. She earned her Masters degree in Foods & Nutrition from Bhopal University, and later completed a Diploma in Advertisement and Public Relations from B.V. Bhavans, India. She also holds a Diploma in Computer Applications, enhancing her ability to integrate modern technology into educational settings.
Her career highlights include a 20-year tenure at the Indian Language School in Lagos, where she served in various capacities, which include teacher, supervisor and coordinator.Before moving to Nigeria, she was the Administrator of B.S.S. Higher Secondary School in Jabalpur, India, where she honed her leadership and management skills.
Chief Geetika Tandon is known for her excellent leadership qualities, strong interpersonal skills, and a results-oriented approach. Her commitment to education extends beyond the classroom, as she has held several key positions in community organizations. She has served as President of the Indian Women’s Association, Lagos, and Director of the Rotary Club of Eko Atlantic. Her community service and leadership were recognized in 2021 when she was honored with the chieftaincy title of "Yeye Atunluse of Odogbolu" by the Royal Court of Odogbolu.
In addition to her professional achievements, Chief Geetika is a passionate volunteer and has been actively involved with UNICEF. Her global perspective is further enriched by her extensive travel to countries across the world, enhancing her ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. She was conferred with the Legendary Woman award at a Future Women conference in May 2023, held by Women in Africa.
